Where there’s beer, there’s coffee? Maybe not, but we tend to enjoy them in that order. Following the arrival of three craft breweries in The Bronx during the past two years, there has also been an increase in new coffee shops and cafes opening their doors for the first time uptown. But, where some might smell dark roasts, others may see signs of gentrification in latte art. Regardless of how you like your coffee (or your community development), now that the temperatures are falling, take a look at the spaces where you can wrap your hands around a cup, warm up in cool modernist decor, and take advantage of all the free wifi while you decide.

And it is still a community effort as the cafe’s brews are supplied by the borough’s traveling coffee shop Morris Perk and The Bronx Brewery.
