“We’re launching a one week “All in One” Kickstarter Campaign! The funds raised will go towards including a “History of Hip Hop” component to our Roots & River Kids Summer Cultural Arts Program. Hip Hop, a musical form – and way of life – born in the Bronx, has become a powerful force of social justice around the world. We are committed to empowering our Bronx youth by educating them on the rich history of this movement – and sharing with them the skills to perform. The funds raised will specifically go towards purchasing turntables and an instructor, so the children can create their own music and perform at our end of summer recital.” – Sweet Water Dance & Yoga
