We have creating a 5400 square foot urban farm called Libertad Urban Farm, supplied the community with hundreds of pounds of food through our farm stand box, created the South Bronx Mobile Market, created a space for Black mothers to celebrate themselves and their children all the while creating leadership development opportunities for Black women and women of color in our community and beyond.
“Regalos.Nyc is a brand new concept, opening Dec 15th in the South Bronx and running until Dec 23rd; Think a holiday market fair with food vendors, small batch, locally grown/produced items, arts, crafts, gifts, music, comedy and much more.
The event takes place in the heart of the South Bronx on 131 Alexander Avenue between Bruckner and 134th St. and will be accompanied by an online store.
The market is a collaboration between BLOX NYC and EDIBLE BRONX, the team responsible for ROCKING THE BRIDGE following the same guidelines of empowering locality, promoting inclusiveness, and building a community that asks for more.
